Dandies, puzzling and capable of playing with masculinity and femininity at the same time, have been the inspiration for Juan Carlos Pajares for next Fall-Winter 15/16 collection, but renewing the myth of the dandy: now the woman dominates this game. Unisex clothing where the key is the seduction, the protagonist ... she.

Considered one of the 9 most promising Spanish designers by Vanity Fair, Juan Carlos Pajares has recently presented his collection SHE DANDY FW 15/16 at Astarte Gallery, in Madrid. Only 22 years old, Juan Carlos Pajares has a promising career, he had been selected for LVMH Prize Young Fashion Designer 2015.

Los dandis, desconcertantes y capaces de jugar con la masculinidad y la feminidad a la vez, han sido la inspiración de Juan Carlos Pajares para su próxima colección Otoño-Invierno 15/16, pero renovando el mito del dandy: ahora es la mujer la que domina este juego. Prendas unisex donde la clave es la seducción, la protagonista... ella.

Considerado como uno de los 9 diseñadores españoles más prometedores por la revista Vanity Fair, Juan Carlos Pajares ha presentado recientemente su colección SHE DANDY FW 15/16 en la Galería Astarté de Madrid. Con tan solo 22 años, lleva una prometedora carrera, habiendo sido seleccionado para el LVMH Prize Young Fashion Designer 2015.

Creativity, elegance, daring - and even rebelliousness - but first and foremost style eclipse the world from the main fashion capitals. This week Madrid have hosted the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and showed the latest trends that will inspire our closets next Autumn-Winter. The catwalks lead the way but fashion lives on the streets of the city and it is reinvented every day, so this review will go over the designers proposals without forgetting the street style, because they belong to the same world and serve as mutual inspiration.

Esta semana Madrid ha acogido su Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week y mostrado las nuevas tendencias que inspirarán nuestros armarios la próxima temporada Otoño-Invierno. Las pasarelas marcan la guía pero la moda vive en las calles de la ciudad y se reinventa día a día, por lo que en esta review repasaremos las propuestas de los diseñadores sin olvidar tampoco el street style, ya que pertenecen a un mismo mundo y sirven de inspiración mutua.

Duyos brought us masterfully  into the late seventies with '80s vibes.

Maroon, black, red or brown, leather was a great ally on the catwalks and the undisputed star of proposals from Maya Hansen, clearly biker inspiration. María Escoté also included this aesthetic in her designs which transmit the vision of a chameleonic, strong and confident woman that dazzled with stars, stripes and glam rock. Neoprene, leather, colorized fur will still having a place in our closets and high boots will be so hot!

Duyos nos transportó con maestría a finales de los setenta con un ambiente ochentero.

Granate, negro, rojo o marrón, el cuero fue un gran aliado sobre las pasarelas y el protagonista indiscutible en las propuestas de Maya Hansen, de clara inspiración motera. María Escoté también incluyó esta estética en sus diseños, que transmiten la visión de una mujer camaleónica, fuerte y segura de ella misma que deslumbraba con estrellas, rayas y glam rock.

Se mantienen el neopreno, el cuero y las pieles tintadas entre los materiales claves de nuestras prendas de invierno y las botas altas marcarán estilo.

Today I bring you some fall outfits to inspire you. The poncho and the cape, whose Burberry model has been worn by numerous it girls with her initials on it, are a sure hit.

Hoy os traigo varios conjuntos otoñales que espero os inspiren. El poncho y la capa, cuyo modelo de Burberry hemos visto lucir a numerosas it girls con sus iniciales, son un acierto seguro.

Fashion can change, you must keep being yourself. 

La moda puede cambiar, seamos fieles a nosotros mismos. 

Shadows among the columns / Sombras entre las columnas

It's a rainy day in my city, those almost autumnal days when the wind takes the summer feeling and brings back memories of winter and afternoons prospects with blankets, hot coffee and a good book, as well as a ticket to get into ourselves. Some afternoons like these are needed, even in summer - although they spoil our optimistic plans with friends and in the sun -, moments dedicated to look back, to view where we are and where we imagine ourselves, and especially to look inside us. As in real life, it begins with a gentle movement of leaves, a whisper in our ear, which is gathering force until the storm breaks out, where chaos reigns. After them, it begins the return to order, but never as before. Some documents have been mislaid: we can not re-read them, will not remember the exact words or perhaps the matter, but at some point we wrote them and in some place of the memory they must be stacked. It may be time to change the routine, to reconsider our way and to understand that there are shadows between the columns where we lean, that maybe we are supporting something indefensible, that people in the "good" side are dyeing their flags with burgundy. The acts do not often respond to moral pillars: Peace is - supposedly - the world's aims, but at the moment of truth, its great defenders can become, also, his detractors.

Es un día lluvioso en mi ciudad, esos días casi otoñales en los que el viento se lleva la sensación del verano y trae recuerdos del invierno y perspectivas de tardes entre mantas, café caliente y buena lectura, además de un billete a adentrarnos en nosotros mismos. A veces se necesitan tardes así, incluso en verano - aunque nos estropeen nuestros optimistas planes con amigos y el sol quemándonos -, momentos dedicados a echar la vista atrás, al presente, a lo que imaginamos ante nosotros y, sobre todo, a nuestro interior. Como en la vida misma, empieza con un suave movimiento de hojas, un susurro a nuestro oído, que va cogiendo fuerza, hasta que estalla la tormenta, donde reina el caos. Tras ellos comienza la vuelta al orden, pero nunca como antes. Algunos documentos se han traspapelado: no podremos releerlos, no recordaremos las palabras exactas ni quizás el asunto, pero en algún momento los escribimos y en algún lugar de la memoria estarán apilados. Puede que sea hora de cambiar la rutina, replantearnos nuestro camino y entender que hay sombras entre las columnas sobre las que nos apoyamos, que puede que estemos apoyando lo indefendible, que personas en el bando "bueno" están tiñendo sus banderas de granate. Los actos no responden a menudo a los pilares morales: la Paz es a lo que - supuestamente - el mundo aspira, y a la hora de la verdad, sus grandes defensores pueden llegar a ser, también, sus detractores.
